Your marriage license may be applied for in any county in SC. The easiest option is online at:

IMPORTANT: There is a 24 hour waiting period from the time you apply.
In order to change your name and do various other things, you’ll need a certified copy of your marriage certificate. The fee is $5 and it’s payable by money order. We highly recommend you bring the money order the day of your ceremony and we’ll be happy to get that request submitted for you.
